It seems the number of pics to be taken a minute depends on the cloud speed, if that is the goal
Make sure your battery is full, tripod is level, and once it is set, no movement
With the super wide lens, it must be close to the edge or you will get lots of rock in the video.
Wind.. shakey
I bought a short tripod last week, lots lighter and found the closer to the ground the more stable .
If clouds move the same speed as the wind, then you would need to know the wind speed at the cloud level? https://aviationweather.gov/gfa/#winds
For cloud time-lapse photography, your camera's interval (the time between shots) depends on cloud speed, with fast clouds needing shorter intervals (1-5 seconds) and slow or still clouds allowing for longer intervals (5-10 seconds). The goal is to capture enough frames for smooth motion when played back at 24-30 frames per second |(fps), without the footage appearing too fast or choppy. ¢ ,
Winds Clicking on markers the info will pop up. Clicking on pointers show wind direction and speed by the number of feathers.
